| Timothy D. Frantz, M.D. has provided Ear, Nose and Throat care to Northern California for over 10 years. As a board certified Ear, Nose and Throat / Head and Neck Surgeon, Dr. Frantz is dedicated to applying state-of-the-art techniques and technologies in a caring and patient-centered enviroment.
Dr. Frantz received his bachelor's degree in biology at California State Polytechnic Institute, Pomona. He completed medical school at the Chicago Medical School with high honors (Alpha Omega Alpha) as the senior medical school class president.
After finishing medical school, Dr. Frantz completed 5 years of specialty training in the San Francisco Bay Area. His research in life-threatening infections of the larynx (voice box) has been published in national medical journals, and he has lectured both regionally and nationally on various topics. He received his board certification in 1995. Recently, he was appointed to the teaching staff of the University of California, Davis.
In August 1994, Dr. Frantz opened a private practice in Red Bluff, California and subsequently expanded his practice to Redding, California. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He maintains active staff priviledges at:
